- We Complete Trust – We use the information you provide to complete your trust.
- We Email Trust – We email you your completed trust and our shipping address.
- You Sign and Return – You then sign your trust and ship it, along with the original due diligence documents, to our legal department.
What happens then?
We then ship your original documents to the trustee to register your trust. Once completed, we ship you a copy of your completed trust.
Why do I need to provide due diligence?
Trustees and banks are audited for very stringently by the regulators. If a trustee or banker is missing a required item from the checklist, the organization will be very heavily fined. Multiple violations by an organization can result results in loss of license, thus, their livelihood. If you order a trust and a bank account, each organization needs original sets of documents.
International regulators also conduct audits of each country. Multiple violations by a country results in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) placing that country on a blacklist. This results in trade restrictions that can cripple the country’s economy. So, needless to say, they don’t make exceptions on due diligence requirements.
