Due Diligence (AKA Know-Your-Client)
Now, if your order requires you to provide know-your-client information also called due diligence, that is a legal requirement imposed on financial centers around the world by the OECD; the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Countries that don’t cooperate are given financial sanctions. Banks and providers that don’t comply lose their licenses. So, needless to say, just like walking through the body-scanner at the airport it’s very easy, but they won’t give anyone a pass on providing complete due diligence.
Again, once you get going, it’s really very simple. So, I recommend just attacking it right away and just getting it done as quickly as possible. Don’t worry, nobody requires you to dig a tunnel across town with your bare hands. It’s just a matter of doing simple things like gathering some documents, making some copies, contacting a notary, and requesting some easy reference letters. But wait, don’t send them to us yet. First you’ll scan and email or upload the documents. Our legal department will review them. Then once we see they’re all correct, we’ll ask you to send the originals. If they need revisions, that’ll save you time from having to send them again.
And remember if you have a trust, company and bank account you’ll need separate copies for each.
When you complete this very simple checklist, you’ll be able to enjoy the tremendous benefits of asset protection from lawsuits, added investment opportunities to make your money grow and increased financial privacy.
